Timothy Hall

Timothy Hall

I am a psychiatrist and medical anthropologist with the Center for Behavioral & Addiction Medicine in the Department of Family Medicine, David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. I see adult patients for general, addiction (dual diagnosis), & HIV psychiatry at the Family Health Center (formerly known as Les Kelley) in Santa Monica and at the CARE Clinic on Pico & Roxbury in Los Angeles.

As of September 2014, I am closed to new patients not accepting new patients. When I am again able to accept new patients, I will only be seeing patients who already have a primary physician through one of these two clinics at UCLA (FHC or CARE).

My research training is in psychological anthropology. I am actively involved in several research projects looking at the development and maintenance of sexual identities, epidemiology and treatment of methamphetamine addiction, alcohol and other substance use among men who have sex with men (MSM), and psychosocial risk factors for HIV.
